CNC Machinist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team at MYT. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components for various industries. Your expertise will directly impact the quality, efficiency, and accuracy of our production process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC equipment, a solid understanding of blueprints, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• CNC Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (lathe, mill, and other CNC equipment) to produce parts according to customer specifications and engineering drawings.
• Programming: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining specifications and create CNC programs.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure that all parts meet exact specifications using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose machine malfunctions, identify issues, and perform minor repairs to maintain equipment efficiency.
• Material Management: Select appropriate materials for each job and ensure proper handling to maintain part quality.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, ensuring machines are operating at peak performance levels.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other machinists, engineers, and production staff to ensure a smooth and efficient manufacturing process.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in precision machining, with hands-on expertise in CNC operations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating CNC lathes and mills, familiarity with CAD/CAM software, and understanding of CNC programming.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and designs, ensuring high-quality and precise parts.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills to address operational issues and reduce downtime.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in CNC machining is preferred.
